Hi John. Achievements for 2012... well like most people in business I had my ups and downs.

I had 5 salespeople work at my business in 2012... I learnt a lot from the recruitment process and tweaked it as I went along. Unfortunately only one salesperson was slightly successful, the others were no good.

I discovered that salespeople are brilliant at selling themselves, often for a position with the highest base salary. Then some (not all) learn how to manipulate to cover for their own laziness and ineffectiveness. Yes there are good salespeople out there but I feel a business owner needs to have deep pockets in order attract them and be able to afford the training period.

Wins included updating our information product range and I completed another business unit at UWA. I also picked up a number of new clients who I am still working with.

Looking forward to a brilliant 2013.
